The Criiio Cup Finals reached a thrilling conclusion on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at the historic Amini Park. The event marked the pinnacle of a grassroots movement that began in the heart of local villages across the National Capital District.
The journey started on Friday, 10 April, at the Bisini Cricket Ground, where 170 participants, including 150 children and 20 parents, gathered from five key villages: Vabukori, Kirakira, Mahuru, Taurama, and Hanuabada. Over two days of round-robin action, boys and girls aged 8 to 15 showcased their skills, embodying the program’s mission: “From the village to Amini Cricket Ground.”
