EastEnders star Alistair Cope has confirmed a major return in Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin’s ongoing adoption storyline.
Viewers know that Eve and Suki kicked off their adoption storyline last year, with the couple first meeting with an adoption agency back in October.
As part of the storyline, Cope entered the soap as Robin, the agency representative who is overseeing Suki and Eve’s adoption process.

The actor has appeared in several episodes over the last few months, and recently teased that he would soon be making a comeback.
Hinting that things with the adoption storyline are likely to ramp up soon, Cope took to his Instagram Stories, saying he is back on EastEnders for a “crazy few weeks”.
Previously speaking to RadioTimes about Suki and Eve’s journey to becoming parents, Suki actor Balvinder Sopal teased a long road ahead for the couple.
“That’s going to be a nice long arc,” she said, adding: “We’re going to delve quite deep, hopefully, into both of their backgrounds and lives, and just see the effects of what it means and what it takes to actually go ahead and adopt.”
Opening up about what to expect from the storyline, Sopal explained that the soap had carefully researched the adoption process to ensure it was portrayed as accurately as possible.

She explained: “We want to be as truthful as we possibly can. It’s not easy. We know that. The team at EastEnders have done their background research, so you’re in for a treat. I think we will be seeing a lot of their pasts come to the forefront.”
“You want to know what sort of parents they’re going to be. I know everybody’s like, ‘Suki is a bad mum.’ She is! But it’s nice to delve into why,” she added.
With Cope’s recent hints, it looks as though the soap will be delving deeper into that story soon.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
