Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor‘s The End of Oak Street is set to roar into theaters this summer.
Maisy Stella and Christian Convery round out the cast for writer-director David Robert Mitchell‘s sci-fi movie that Warner Bros. will release theatrically Aug. 14. During the studio’s CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas on Tuesday, moderator Patton Oswalt unveiled a new trailer for the film.
“The horror of being trapped in an attic with Anne Hathaway,” Oswalt quipped from the stage. “Sign me up.”
The trailer, which was not yet released online, teases more of a look at the movie’s dinosaurs that terrorize the titular street. “Is this the end of the world?” Convery asks in the trailer.
Hathaway warns her children, “Grab anything you can use as a weapon. We’re gonna get out of here.” McGregor adds, “God’s not gonna let us die here.”
This leads Stella to pointedly ask, “What about the people who are out here getting eaten?”
Mitchell (It Follows) helmed The End of Oak Street from his own script. He produces alongside J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper.
The End of Oak Street centers on a family who realizes that their suburban street appears to have been transported to a mysterious location that puts their survival at risk. A teaser trailer released last month gave a peek at roaming dinosaurs.
“I think our house, our neighborhood, our whole street has moved,” Hathaway says in the first spot.
CinemaCon is the annual event for exhibitors and Hollywood studios that runs this year from April 13-16. It is the official convention of Cinema United.
