HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women’s tennis returns home for a rivalry matchup against MAAC and in-state foe Fairfield.
 
Matches are set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT


The Bobcats extended their win streak to nine matches, and have won 14 straight MAAC matches dating back to the 2024-2025 season.
Willow Renton & Caitlin Flower won their 12th doubles match of the season.
Willow Renton and Isabella Baker each picked up their 12th singles win of the season.
Baker is on a singles match win streak of eight, while Renton has won seven straight.
Caitlin Flower earned her 10th singles win of the season, extending her streak to six.
Flower surpassed 100 career wins after a 2-0 day against New Haven on 3/21.
Caroline Schulson also won her 10th singles match of the season.
Vera Sekerina picked up her eighth singles win of the season.

MAAC MASTERS TOURNAMENT


Willow Renton is coming off a very successful MAAC Masters tournament, earning the women’s single title, as well as the doubles title with partner Caitlin Flower. Renton and Flower moved on to compete in the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego, California.

2024-25 SEASON


Quinnipiac women’s tennis went 12-9, with a 8-0 MAAC record.
The Bobcats claimed its MAAC-record eighth conference title, defeating the defending champions Fairfield 4-3.
Willow Renton was named MAAC Player of the Year, MAAC Rookie of the Year, and the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
QU named five players to All-MAAC teams with Willow Renton earning first team singles honors, and doubles with partner Caitlin Flower, while Caroline Schulson, Anagha Shankar, Vera Sekerina, and Flowers earned second team singles honors.
Shankar and Sekerina also earned second team doubles honors.

MAAC DOMINANCE


QU has now won eight MAAC championships/advanced to the NCAA Tournament seven times since joining the league (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2024-25) under Head Coach/Director of Tennis Paula Miller.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Miller, the Bobcats have earned at least a share of the regular season MAAC title ten straight times since joining the MAAC in 2013-14. Miller has been named MAAC Coach of the Year eight times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025). She has led Quinnipiac to eight MAAC Tournament titles and seven NCAA Tournament appearances (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2025).
