Jersey’s national team played two T20 matches as they took to the field at Lord’s for the first time in their history.
The home side, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), won the first tie by eight wickets, with Travis Norris hitting a century from 59 balls.
In the second match, MCC scored 124-5 and seemed to be in the driving seat until Charlie Brennan hit 63 not out and captain Charles Perchard struck a four to clinch the win for the island side with just two wickets left.
The fixtures on Thursday formed part of the Jersey’s preparations for their upcoming ICC T20 Men’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
