Triple-murderer Erin Patterson’s estranged husband Simon Patterson is working on a memoir, with details of the book deal “imminent”, his spokesperson says.

Mr Patterson, who lost his parents and an aunt after they were poisoned at a lunch served by his former partner in July 2023, also made several allegations of being poisoned himself but these were not part of her Supreme Court trial.

This was because in the lead-up to the trial, Justice Christopher Beale ordered that charges related to Mr Patterson be dropped from the case.

Mr Patterson referenced frustration with the discontinued charges in court last year, although not in front of the jury.

“I’m sitting here, half-thinking about the things I’m not allowed to talk about,” he said.

Memoir pending

On Saturday, Mr Patterson’s media manager, Jessica O’Donnell, issued a statement saying she’d been working with him on the “recovery phase of his experience, including the development of a memoir”.

“A formal announcement regarding the memoir, including publisher and timeline, will follow in due course,” she said.

Ms O’Donnell told the ABC a joint announcement between herself and a publisher was “very imminent” — perhaps in the next few weeks.

She wouldn’t be drawn on the content of the memoir.

Ms O’Donnell said she had to be careful not to provide any details as there were legal proceedings in play — referring to an appeal process launched by Erin Patterson late last year.

She said Mr Patterson’s case was the most significant she’d ever taken on.

“Three years ago when news first started to break, I don’t think anyone could have guessed how big this could become,” she said.

Erin Patterson was convicted of the murders of Simon Patterson’s parents, Don and Gail Patterson, and Gail’s sister Heather Wilkinson, and the attempted murder of Heather’s husband, Ian Wilkinson, who all fell ill after a lunch laced with death cap mushrooms she hosted in July 2023.

Her murder trial did not deal with alleged food poisoning incidents involving Simon Patterson but were later made public after the conclusion of the trial.Â
