Taylor Swift has announced a new studio album called The Life of a Showgirl.
The announcement comes after an official countdown was put up on the singer’s official website an orange glittery backdrop with the words “expires August 12 at 12:12am ET [Eastern Time].”
As soon as the announcement was made on the website, a snippet on the podcast New Heights — which her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce host — was uploaded to Instagram.

While on the podcast, she opened up a suitcase with the letters T and S and pulling out her new album out of the case.
“This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,” she said while pulling up an album that has been blurred in the Instagram reel.
When the countdown had finished the singer’s official website had crashed for just over a minute.
Fans have taken to X to share their excitement about the upcoming album.
This will be the singer’s 12th album.
A date for the album’s release has not been announced yet.
