Le SUEUR, Minn. – The Macalester College men’s golf team participated in the Bobby Krig Invitational, hosted by Gustavus Saturday and Sunday at New Prague Golf Club and LeSueur Country Club. The Scots carded a three-round score of 973 and finished 16th.
Senior Ben d’Entremont (Cranston, R.I./Moses Brown School) led Macalester with a score of 238 to tie for 57th. Sophomore Liam Sarmiento (Sioux Falls, S.D./O’Gorman) tied for 73rd with a score of 244, while first year Leo Simon (Scarsdale, N.Y./Brunswick) shot a 247 to tie for 78th. First year Ryan Chang (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) closed out the Scots’ top four, tying for 84th with a 248. Sophomore Aaron Cheng (Mountain View, Calif./Taipei American School) competed as an individual and tied for 33rd with a score of 230.
Macalester will concludes the 2025-26 season at the Saint John’s Spring Invite on April 25-26 at Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids, Minn.
