Jules Neale has shared the emotional news that a therapy session left her “crying for an hour straight”.
The popular hair stylist on Tuesday posted a video to Instagram to share her experience with such a private issue.

The 36-year-old is continuing to rebuild her life after separating from Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale in December.
She moved to Perth with their children, daughter Piper, 4, and son Freddie, 1, after it was alleged the two-time Brownlow Medal winner had an affair with Tess Crosley, who had previously been one of Jules’ closest friends.
At the time, Jules went public to say she had been “betrayed in the most unimaginable way”.
She has now shared a new chapter of the separation, by sharing how she felt after such a left-field form of therapy.
“Don’t mind my appearance I’ve just been like crying for an hour straight,’’ Jules she said in a video, which she filmed sitting in the front seat of a car.
“I did hypnotherapy at Stella Hypnotherapy with Joey and it was incredible.
“I just wanted to share it because I thought if anyone is dealing with anything emotionally or any kind of trauma or anything, that you go to normal or traditional talk therapy for, try hypnotherapy as well.
“I feel like that did a lot more for me in one session than talk therapy has before. It kind of feels a little bit deeper I suppose and it was really incredible. I just wanted to share that. Sending love.”
She finished the clip by blowing a kiss to the camera.
She was notably absent from Lachie’s milestone 300th game at the MCG on Sunday.
Lachie and teammate Josh Dunkley were given an honour guard as they walked onto the ground ahead of the team’s loss to the Demons.
The scene was all too much for Piper, who clung onto her dad’s shoulders and was seen in tears as the footballer carried her through the team’s banner.
According to Jules’ social media posts, she was on the other side of the country in Perth with Freddie.
She posted photos over the weekend of herself showing off a new black dress. Another post from Friday showed her holding Freddie with a caption “just us lately”.
Lions midfielder Lachie last week addressed his marriage breakdown in detail for the first time.
He remains under contract with the Lions until the end of the 2026 season and moved into an apartment in Brisbane as the couple sold their house in February.
Despite living on opposite sides of the country, Lachie said he is making it work.
“It’s obviously tough not having the kids here, but I’m pretty lucky that Jules, their mother, allows me to come and go from Perth,” Neale said in an interview with The Age.
“I get Piper over here a fair bit … I am very fortunate that Jules has been very flexible with that, and I am able to go back to Perth with the club’s blessing whenever I want.
“If I have to miss a day of training or whatever they are happy for that to happen. I am managing that pretty well so far. It is only early in the year, but the footy season will just fly by, and it will be the off-season again.”
Lions coach Chris Fagan said in January the club will not stand in Neale’s way should he choose to move to Perth to play for West Coast or Fremantle for the 2027 AFL season.
It has been widely reported Neale’s first preference is to sign a contract extension with the Lions.
According to The Age, Neale won’t be making a decision until August.
“I honestly haven’t thought [about] what I will do next year – that will come in 12 weeks,” Neale said.
“At the moment, I am just trying to make it work here in Brisbane and, for me, if it works well and everyone is happy – and the kids are the No.1 priority – and we think we can make it work playing here, I would love to stay, but we will wait and see how it plays out.”
