Scoot Henderson and the Trail Blazers are facing the Spurs in Game 2 of their 2026 NBA Playoffs series on NBC and Peacock.

VJ Edgecombe (30 pts, 10 reb), Tyrese Maxey (29 pts, 9 ast) and the 76ers showed their mettle in Boston, earning a 111-97 win over the Celtics to the tie the series at 1-1 in tonight’s opening contest.
Now, we have Deni Avdija and the Trail Blazers facing De’Aaron Fox and the Spurs (8 ET), soon to be followed by LeBron James’ Lakers in Houston taking on Kevin Durant and the Rockets (10:30 ET).
Both games will air on NBC and Peacock.

Robert Williams III just took a rare corner 3-pointer, which missed, but fell to Jrue Holiday (16 pts, 9 ast) for the putback.

The 76ers shot 19-of-39 (48.7%) from 3-point range, while the Celtics were 13-of-50 (26%). Boston was 0-2 when shooting 25% or worse from deep this season.
Jaylen Brown (36 pts, 7 reb, 4 ast) carried the offense for Boston, with Jayson Tatum (19 pts, 14 reb, 9 ast) the only other Celtic to crack double figures.

Sixers in command
“A hush falls over Boston,” said Jason Benetti, as Tyrese Maxey slashes to the rim to give the Sixers a 107-92 lead with 2:42 to go in the fourth quarter in TD Garden.
Maxey’s drive followed a stepback 3-pointer by VJ Edgecombe (30 pts).
The Sixers’ rookie showed ice in his veins, isolating against Payton Pritchard to calmly knock down the difficult shot on the road.

Scoot Henderson (19 pts) set a new Playoff career high in the first stanza, as the Blazers led by as many as 13.

The Sixers are threatening to even the series by taking Game 2 at TD Garden, as VJ Edgecombe (27 pts, 9 reb) begins to write his Playoff story in his rookie year.
Philly’s physicality defined the third quarter, as Boston cut the lead to three, but couldn’t get any closer.
The Celtics are 9-of-34 from 3-point range (26.5%), including a 3-of-17 mark from Derrick White, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser.
The Sixers are 13-of-30 (43.3%) from deep, including 8-of-12 from Edgecombe, Andre Drummond and Quentin Grimes.
