What’s New April 22, 2026

With the Kyle & Jackie O Show now gone, we should start to get an idea of where their audience has headed when GfK Metro Survey 2 of 2026 lands tomorrow (Thursday, April 23rd)

K & J remained Sydney’s #1 FM Breakfast show in Survey 1, holding steady with a 12.7 share.

It remains to be seen whether KIIS loses cume, or if some listeners switch off altogether, rather than stick around and sample other radio stations.

On the Gold side of the fence, ARN will be keen to arrest the sharp decline seen in Survey 1, where Gold 101.7 Breakfast tumbled to a 6.1% share following the exit of Jonesy & Amanda and the arrival of The Christian O’Connell Show on Sydney’s airwaves.

Off the back of their recent TV campaign, 2DayFM’s Nath & Emma will be hoping to build on the 0.7% rise in share they recorded in their first survey as a brekky duo.

Nova Brisbane’s recently reshuffled Breakfast team of Nick, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill will also be gunning to get back in the direction of double figures, after the show dropped from 12.9% to a 9.3 share in Survey 1.

So fasten your seatbelts. It could be wild ride.

Radio Today will have all the results and industry reaction when the results come out at 9.30am tomorrow.
