Former Hollywood couple Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas were seen out to dinner together more than a decade after finalising their divorce.

The stars were spotted at Hollywood hot spot Matsuhisa looking rather cosy as they left the famed LA hot spot arm-in-arm on Sunday night.

The Working Girl actress, 68, was all smiles as she clung to The Mask of Zorro star, 65, with both looking chic in their respective biker and bomber jacket and jeans.

The pair’s daughter, Stella Banderas, 29, joined them for the night out as did Griffith’s son Alexander Bauer, 40, who she shares with her first ex-husband, actor Steven Bauer.

The actress’ other daughter, actress Dakota Johnson, who she shares with her second ex-husband Don Johnson, appeared to have missed the family outing.

However, Griffith remains close to her stepson Jesse – Don’s son – who joined the group for dinner.

The reunion comes six months after the exes also put on a united front at Stella’s wedding to tech platform CEO Alex Gruszynski in Valladolid, Spain, a leisurely drive from her father’s hometown in Málaga.

Griffith shared a carousel of photos of the big day on her Instagram, sounding like one very proud mother of the bride.

“Stella and Alex are married!!” she wrote at the time. “️This was the most joyful, loving, sweet, magnificent time!! So much love! October 18th 2025 The knot has been tied!!”

Banderas also took to his Instagram with a sweet slideshow of throwback photos featuring their one and only child together.

“The wedding of my daughter Stella has turned into a heartfelt family reunion, emotional, joyful, and full of laughter,’ he captioned the video montage. “Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”

Stella was married in a 12th-century Spanish abbey in front of 200 guests, including Malia Obama and Sasha Obama, the daughters of former US President Barack Obama.

As for Stella’s famous parents, they were married in 1996 one year after they first bonded while filming their rom-com, Two Much. At the time, they were both still married to their former partners: Don Johnson and Ana Leza, respectively.

But the couple first crossed paths at the 1989 Oscars where Banderas asked his friend, Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, to tell him everything about “this blonde woman”.

“So, I said to Pedro, ‘Who is she? Who is she? What is her name?’ Pedro said, ‘That’s Melanie Griffith!’ I said, ‘That’s it. Oh my God.’ Six years later, I was married to her,” Banderas recalled in a previous interview with Vulture.

Sadly, they parted in 2014 after almost two decades of marriage, finalising their divorce the following year. Despite their split, the pair have remained on good terms and have successfully co-parented Stella.

“The secret is just to understand each other,” Banderas told Fox News Digital in 2023. “I’m a very good friend of my ex-wife. I don’t have anything against her. She’s a wonderful woman and I still respect and support that idea that everything that happened between her and me for 20 years was beautiful.”

“Of course, we had our bad moments,” Banderas added. “But the thing that I will remember forever is those beautiful moments that we had together. And one of those beautiful moments has to do with our kids and the family.”

Since 2015, Banderas has been in a long-term relationship with Nicole Kimpel, a Dutch investment advisor and entrepreneur. As for Griffith, she has not publicly dated and has chosen to focused on her children.

“It’s a whole new world out there!” she told People magazine shortly after there split. “I’m having a blast. It’s all new, I feel like I’ve got a second chance. It’s all really good.”

“I haven’t met one person that I want to go out with, not one guy. But I imagine there are some out there somewhere, hopefully I’ll meet one.”
