Thirty-six teams will contest the first round of this year’s Kate Sheppard Cup.
NZ Football conducted the draw on Wednesday April 29, to determine who will meet in the round of ties planned for May 8-10, 2026.
Nine clubs received byes in the draw.
In the Northern/WaiBOP region, all the teams from the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premiership received byes, except for Melville United, who have not entered this year’s competition.
Auckland clubs Franklin United and Northern Rovers also drew an automatic progression to Round 2.
Five clubs — all from the Women’s Central League — received byes in the Central/Capital section of the draw.
