On April 26, a professional competition hosted by The One Promotion (CEO Shin Hong-kyun) was held at the event hall of the textile center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The Korean Boxing Commission (KBM) light heavyweight (79.4kg) championship match (3 minutes × 10 rounds) was in charge of the main event.

As Lee Tae-dong (21, WS Boxing Club) returned the light heavyweight title, a match between Kim Yong-wook, No. 1 in KBM rankings, and Lee Kyu-hyun, No. 6 in Sangeem, took place. Kim Yong-wook beat Lee Kyu-hyun by TKO in 2:20 of the second round.

After reaching the top of the super welterweight class (69.9kg) in November 2022, it is the throne of KBM’s two weight classes. When Kim Yong-wook was a student at Yongin University, he won the 69kg gold medal at the 19th Korean University Boxing Association Presidential Cup in 2014.

After making his professional debut, he experienced four weight titles, including ▲ KBM super welterweight champion who succeeded in the first defense, ▲ World Boxing Organization (WBO) super lightweight (63.5kg), Asia Pacific challenger ▲ KBM welterweight (66.7kg) challenger ▲ KBM light heavyweight champion.

The destructive power of the KO win rate of 85.71% (6/7) and the durability that has not yet been defeated by KO are also strengths.
