WHILE he may be missing from the small screens in 2026, the silver screen beckons for Neil Crompton, after a cameo appearance in a Supercheap Auto promotion.
Starring Walkinshaw TWG Racing drivers Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood, the pair initially attempt to steal a GR Supra racecar before getting away in a GR86 road car.
Following much fist waving from the ‘security guard’, Mostert asks – “Is that Crompo… as a security guard now?”
The clip was shot during the off-season, when the team’s Supercars Supra was unavailable for driving.
Thus, The-Lowdown Agency, the company behind the campaign, shifted the clip’s narrative to stealing the road car instead.
Behind the scenes, the clip required more than 20 crew members to film for 30 hours across three locations to destroy two sets of tyres, with 150 hours spent in post-production.
