Nasdaq-listed artificial intelligence infrastructure start-up Sharon AI has dismissed the central claims in an attack by a short-seller US hedge fund that its flagship customer cannot afford to pay for its biggest contract, as local analysts backed it to list successfully on the ASX.
Over the weekend, Bleecker Street Research, published an aggressive short report highlighting concerns about chief executive James Manning’s behaviour in his previous role as chief executive of Mawson Infrastructure and questioning whether India’s ESDS Software Solutions would be able to afford to pay the $US250 million a year in a five-year deal Sharon AI announced in April.
