Poll: Time for Dhoni to retire?

MS Dhoni is one of the most iconic and successful figures in IPL history – but is it time for the great man to retire.

Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to five IPL titles in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, 2023. CSK have appeared in 10 finals altogether.

In a record-breaking career, Dhoni has played 278 matches – an IPL record – and scored over 5,500 runs as a hard-hitting finisher in T20 cricket.

As a wicketkeeper, the 42-year-old has also effected over 200 dismissals.

However, Dhoni has yet to feature for his franchise at IPL 2026, as he continues his recovery from a calf injury sustained ahead of the season.
