The South East Melbourne Phoenix have reportedly made their second signing in less than a week, apparently agreeing to a deal with NBL26 champion Hunter Goodrick.

According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, the Phoenix are penning big man Goodrick, fresh off a solid debut season with the Sydney Kings, to a deal for the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season.

Hunter Goodrick has signed a one-year deal with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, sources told ESPN. The 6’7 F/C is coming off a championship in Sydney, where he emerged as a rotational big for the Kings; he was top-3 in the NBL in ORB% (15.1%).

Goodrick proved a reliable presence off the bench during the Kings’ journey to the title, including being top-3 in the League in ORB% (15.1%).

This signing comes off the back of Josh King’s side announcing the signing of Tanner Krebs for two seasons on Tuesday.

This reported signing adds to King’s roster of Nathan Sobey, Jordi Hunter, Angus Glover, Owen Foxwell, Krebs and Ellis Biggar for the 2026-27 campaign.
