Deloitte Australia wants to more than triple its managed services arm into a $1 billion business by 2030, offsetting the threat from artificial intelligence that may automate one-third of routine consulting tasks within three years.
Joanne Gorton, Deloitte Australia’s chief executive, said AI would allow the firm to operate back-office functions, such as finance, more efficiently for clients than they can do for themselves.
