It’s taken half an hour but finally the Roosters have some points on the ball, James Tedesco taking a Daly Cherry-Evans pass, stepping inside the rushing AJ Brimson, and sending Robert Toia crashing over the tryline.
But wait – did Toia drop it? Replays suggest the ball dropped out of the Queensland Origin centre’s grasp as he looks to ground it, and it really looks like a knock on. We’re waiting for the bunker to make a call… and waiting… and now they’ve confirmed the try. A controversial one. Sam Walker misses the conversion badly to the left.
