MMA superstar Alexander Volkanovski (38, Australia) has been on his South Korean schedule since Wednesday, May 6. Yevloyev Mobsar Magomedovic (32, Russia), the No. 1 UFC bantamweight, has been named the next opponent.
Alexander Volkanovski is the fifth and seventh UFC featherweight (66 kg) champion. Eight wins (3 losses) in the title match are tied for ninth place in UFC history and joint first place in featherweight. In the “Fight Matrix” all-time ranking, he is second in featherweight and fifth in P4P (regardless of weight class).

As the 7th UFC featherweight champion, he succeeded in the first defense in February. Alexander Volkanovski said in an interview with the arrival hall at Incheon International Airport conducted by Z-Fight Night, “It is not yet confirmed, but we are pursuing a confrontation with Yevloyev Mobsar Magomedovich.”
Alexander Volkanovski, one of the greatest in the history of mixed martial arts across all weights, visited Korea in July 2022 at the invitation of “Korean Zombie” Jung Chan-sung (39), who competed in the third defense match of the 5th UFC featherweight champion.

Jung Chan-sung is the best ever in Korea, who has won two UFC featherweight titles. Since June 2024, he has also been the head of mixed martial arts organization ZFN. At the TicketLink Live Arena (Seoul Olympic Handball Stadium), ZFN 04 will be held in 13 games from 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Yevloyev Mobsar Magomedovic is the 10th consecutive UFC debut since 2019. Even though he has no experience as a UFC champion, he is currently ranked 15th in “Fight Matrix” P4P and 23rd in featherweight all-time.

Alexander Volkanovski said: “I think the next match will be against Yevloyev Mobsar Magomedovic. I think it’s about September. I hope (detailed) news will come soon,” he said, explaining his second defense fight as the 7th UFC featherweight champion.
In South Korea, Alexander Volkanovski is a ZFN 04 guest fighter. Following the undercard (1st to 5th games) YouTube Live, OTT service UFC Fight Pass will broadcast the main card (6th to 13th games) live globally after 6 p.m.

ZFN 04 presented by CEO Chung Chan-sung is the highest based on domestic mixed martial arts competitions, including ▲1 UFC, 1 Contender Series, ▲3 UFC, ▲3 Major Leaguers, ▲2 overseas group champions, ▲1 overseas group title match, and ▲2 domestic group champions.
UFC President Dana White (57, USA) launched the Contender Series (DWCS) in 2017 and is looking for prospects himself. Road to UFC is an Asian talent search project. Professional Fighters League and ONE Championship experiences, who are grouped into big leagues like UFC, also appear in ZFN04.

The Seoul Olympic Handball Stadium has 5,003 seats. Tickets for ZFN04 are on sale online in KREAM. Foreigners wishing to watch can use the on-site ticket booth on the day.
Alexander Volkanovski will hold a seminar at Arc Studio in Seocho-gu, Seoul, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. ZFN CEO Jung Chan-sung, who competed for the UFC featherweight title, will also teach the participants.
