Poll: What must Formula 1 fix with its new rules – and what should it leave unchanged?
‘It’s been entertaining. It’s been good to watch with plenty of on-track action. And I mean, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch.’
‘Effective immediately, IndyCar Officiating will no longer take into consideration pit windows and the running order of cars on track before deploying a (Full Course Yellow). (…) ‘The lap 21 incident on Saturday made clear that there needs to be a cleaner standard for how race control moves from a local to a full course yellow,’ IndyCar Officiating’s Independent Officiating Board chair Raj Nair said.’
Although it’s good to see IndyCar announcing they won’t take ‘pit windows’ into account when considering Full Course Yellows in future races, after the dreadful call following Rossi’s retirement on Saturday, they should never have been doing so in the first place.#IndyCar

Juncadella: N24 an ‘amazing opportunity’ for Verstappen (Sportscar 365)
Daniel Juncadella: ‘(Max Verstappen has) been extremely aggressive in traffic, and it’s paid off and it works for him because he’s just very intuitive and even taking way more risks than us, but at the same point that’s something you need to have in mind for the 24 hours. He’s probably not going to approach the race the same way he would an NLS four-hour race because there’s many more risks.’
Max set for 24h Nurburgring debut: ‘Success would mean winning’ (Verstappen)
‘Success would mean winning. That’s very simple, that’s why we are here. I know it’s not going to be easy, but that’s the target for everyone.’
