Similarly, the once seldom-used bar is now enjoyed often; a dark, walk-in pantry was transformed with the addition of a large skylight and new bar; and a children’s rumpus room was reimagined as a gym. A standout of the project, however, is the living room, which now features statement wallpaper on the ceiling, plush carpet, a curated art wall and a strong use of texture throughout. “It draws on the home’s modernist roots,” explains Haag, who also points out the two GlobeWest limited-edition pieces—the Legacy dining table and Pippa Stripe coffee table—that enhance the room’s personal feel.
