Karen Chukhadzhian vs. Paddy Donovan is on Friday, May 15. The main card starts at 8 p.m. BST and the main event should begin around 11:15 p.m. BST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Born in Co Limerick, Donovan (14-2) had his unbeaten streak snapped after getting disqualified last March against Lewis Crocker. They fought again in September for the IBF welterweight title, with Donovan losing via split decision.

Traveling out of the U.K., Donovan looks to earn his way back to competing for gold.

“I’m coming to Mannheim to win big and move closer to a world title. Karen is tough and experienced, but I have the power and hunger to take the victory and make my mark,” Donovan said.

Chukhadzhian (26-3) won three straight fights between two losses against Jaron Ennis for IBF welterweight gold. The Ukrainian is on a two-fight win streak and has 14 wins via knockout.

With a win, the 30-year-old is ready to fight for gold again.

“This final eliminator is my chance to prove I belong at the very top. I’ve faced the best, and I’m ready to outwork and outlast Paddy Donovan to earn my shot at the world title,” Chukhadzhian said.
