Las Vegas has played host to the star-studded 61st Academy of Country Music Awards overnight.
The industry’s biggest names stepped out on the red carpet (which was actually navy blue), including Keith Urban, Shania Twain and newlywed Lainey Wilson.
The singer and Yellowstone actress made her first red carpet appearance since her surprise wedding to NFL partner Devlin “Duck” Hodges earlier this month, with the couple marking the occasion with a smooch for the cameras.

Wilson also performed on-stage during the awards ceremony, as did Kane Brown, Little Big Town and Kacey Musgraves.
Michael Buble was among the surprise attendees at the event, with the crooner taking to the stage as a presenter during the awards show.
Miley Cyrus’ sister, actress and DJ Brandi Cyrus, was also there at the MGM Grand Arena in a chocolate mini-dress with dramatic sleeves.

But the navy carpet was where it was at for all the high fashion moments, complete with cowboy boots and hats for some.
Cute couples
Wilson and Hodges – who nailed just the right amount of country style chic with Wilson’s fringed dress and Hodges wearing a bolo tie that matched his wife’s accessories – weren’t the only loved up couples at the event.

One-half of country duo Florida Georgia Line, Tyler Hubbard, shared a sweet moment with his colour co-ordinated wife Hayley Hubbard as they had a date night without their three kids.
Also posing it up for the cameras were country music legend Lee Ann Womack and her music producer husband Frank Liddell, as well as singer Jordan Davis and his wife Kristen.

YouTuber Hannah Godwin, best known for her appearance on The Bachelor in the US stunned in a ‘naked’ gown that wouldn’t look out of place at the Cannes Film Festival with a feathered fishtail at the bottom of a plunging sheer diamante dress.
And she wasn’t the only one trying out the Hollywood trend, with singer-songwriter Ashley Cooke showing some skin through a soft blue lace gown.
Singer Dasha and TV host Alison Victoria both opted for sheer black lace in their ensembles, while country music star Kelsea Ballerini wore a gold leaf print corset gown which had a sheer lining to it.

It wouldn’t be a country music event without a few cowboy hats and boots on the navy carpet and fans weren’t disappointed.
