OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Oklahoma City Thunder stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren added more hardware to a historic season, with both earning All-NBA honors on Sunday.

Gilgeous-Alexander was named to the 2025-26 All-NBA First Team for the fourth consecutive season. Holmgren was selected to the 2025-26 All-NBA Third Team, marking the first All-NBA honor of his career.

The honors come after Gilgeous-Alexander and Holmgren helped lead Oklahoma City to its second consecutive 60-plus win season. The Thunder finished 64-18, the best record in the NBA, and the 64 wins were the second-most in team history.

Gilgeous-Alexander was also named the 2025-26 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, becoming the 14th back-to-back MVP winner in NBA history. He played in 68 games, all starts, and averaged 31.1 points on 55.3% shooting, including 38.6% from 3-point range. He also averaged a career-high 6.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.40 steals in 33.2 minutes per game.

He is the first player in NBA history to average at least 30 points on 55% shooting and 38% 3-point shooting, and the first guard to eclipse 30-plus points on 55% shooting for a season. The two-time MVP averaged 30-plus points on 50% shooting for the fourth consecutive season, joining Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan as the only players to achieve that feat. He also made his fourth career All-Star appearance and third consecutive selection as a starter.

Holmgren, an NBA All-Star for the first time in 2025-26, appeared in 69 games, all starts, and averaged a career-high 17.1 points on 55.7% shooting, including 36.2% from 3-point range. He also averaged 8.9 rebounds and 1.90 blocks, fourth in the NBA, in 28.9 minutes per game.

The Gonzaga product was one of two NBA players to average 17-plus points and eight-plus rebounds on 55% shooting and 35% 3-point shooting, along with Nikola Jokic. Opponents made 44.9% of their 2-point shots when Holmgren was contesting, the best mark among players who defended at least 400 shots. Holmgren was also named to the 2025-26 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

With the latest selections, Oklahoma City now has 23 All-NBA selections and 12 First Team All-NBA selections, both leading the NBA since the 2008-09 season.
