Declan Pritchard and Charlotte Hussein are in the box seat after Round 2 of the BikeChain J19 National Road Series.
Round 2 was held in Canberra as part of the Canberra Junior & Women’s Tour with riders contending four stages: Road Race, Criterium, Hill Climb and Time Trial.
Pritchard finished second to a strong Hamish Carson, extending his overall lead in the series.
The U19 women saw a new player emerge in the fight for the overall lead, with Hussein taking honours in Round 2 win moving into equal first with Adelle Parkinson-Need.
The final round of the series will be held in Queensland at the Balmoral CC Junior & Women’s Tour on June 27-28.
