According to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Bones Hyland will remain with the Minnesota Timberwolves next season.
The Timberwolves still have one open roster spot, and all indications are that it will be filled by Bones Hyland.
As options to fill the final roster spot, Malcolm Brogdon, Cam Payne, and Landry Shamet were mentioned, but it seems that Hyland will ultimately get the nod.
There was talk that Hyland could move to the EuroLeague this summer, with Crvena Zvezda, Real Madrid, and Olympiacos all showing interest in his services. However, it was clear that Hyland was waiting for NBA offers, and it is now confirmed that we will not see him in Europe next season.
Last season, he played 24 games for the Timberwolves, averaging 6.2 points, 1.3 assists, and 1 rebound per game.
Before joining the Timberwolves, he played for the Los Angeles Clippers from 2023 until February 2025, and for the Denver Nuggets from 2021 until February 2023.
