We have NBA picks and predictions for Friday, May 29th, which features Game 6 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs, where the Thunder have a 3-2 lead.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this week.
Spurs vs. Thunder Best BetThunder @ $2.35
Punters get value odds for the Thunder to wrap up the series on the road. They scored a commanding win at home on Wednesday, and although beating the Spurs in San Antonio is hard, they have already done it during the series.
There were concerning signs for Victor Wembanyama, who looked visibly tired in Game 5. The Spurs need him to be firing on all cylinders to have a chance of forcing a Game 7, but we’re going with optics and taking the Thunder.
It has been a valiant effort from the Spurs to progress this far. They have a great young team, but they will be better next year, and the Thunder already have a winning year under their belts. They’re going through some injury troubles, but they have more depth than most teams.
Getting $2.35 is too good to turn down, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could finally show why he’s the two-time MVP. We expect a 30-point night from SGA, and if he’s anywhere close to that, the Thunder should prevail.
Spurs vs. Thunder SGMThunder H2H, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 29.5 Points, De’Aaron Fox Under 14.5 Points, Under 220.5 Points @ $8.00
Gilgeous-Alexander has two 30-point games in this series, including 32 points in Game 5. He has quietly gone about his business, and he should be right around the mark again. We have him having a big night in the scoring department, so include over 29.5 points in NBA SGM picks.
De’Aaron Fox had only nine points last time on court, and he has had only 21 points combined since returning from an ankle injury. Their point guard is clearly struggling with fitness, and it’s not an ideal situation for the Spurs. He could have another poor shooting night, so under 14.5 points is a good multi bet addition.
We also have under 220.5 points, and that’s based on the Spurs’ lack of scoring. They could struggle to score over 100 points, which will see the under cash with ease.
