Artificial intelligence has invented two new potential antibiotics that could kill two drug resistant superbugs.

The drugs were designed by atom-by-atom by AI, destroying gonorrhoea and staph infections in laboratory and animal testing.

Medical professionals behind the discovery say it could be groundbreaking in antibiotic discovery, and could someday even combat cancer.
