A NSW woman has been arrested after staff at a Canberra photo‑printing store allegedly uncovered child abuse material she had attempted to print.
Police allege the 36‑year‑old from Wamboin, in the NSW Southern Tablelands, went to a Belconnen business on Wednesday afternoon to print a number of digital images.
The files reportedly failed to process due to a machine malfunction, and the woman was refunded before leaving the store.

When staff later checked the machine, they allegedly discovered multiple child exploitation images that had not printed and contacted ACT Police.
Detectives launched an investigation and, on Friday afternoon, stopped a vehicle in Holt, where the woman was arrested.
She is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with aggravated possession of child exploitation material.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the origin of the images and whether any additional offences may have been committed.
