A popular Allen’s lolly sold at major supermarkets, including Coles, Woolworths and IGA, has been recalled over fears it may contain plastic fragments.
Nestlé Australia issued a nationwide recall for Allen’s iNSiDE OUTS 130g on Tuesday night after the potential presence of foreign matter was detected in some packs.
The product has been sold nationally through Coles, Woolworths, independent retailers including IGA, as well as convenience stores and petrol stations.

First, check whether you have an affected batch.
Shoppers can look to see if their items list a 30/JUN/2027 date marking and following batch numbers:
Food Safety Australia New Zealand have urged customers not to eat the affected product as “plastic may cause illness orinjury if consumed”.
Anyone who has purchased the recalled Allen’s lollies should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Customers concerned about their health are advised to seek medical advice.
