After nearly three months without action from the USA Women’s Eagles Rugby squad, it’s time for them to make their grand return at the Women’s World Cup on Aug. 22.

The Women’s Eagles have yet to win a matchup in 2025, taking losses to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand so far. The team is set to face off against Australia once again in the World Cup group stage, and will meet with England and Samoa for the first time.

The USA has not won the World Cup since its inaugural year in 1991, and their last appearance in the World Cup came with a fourth-place finish in 2017.

Here’s everything to know ahead of the Women’s Eagles first World Cup contest against England.

When Is The Women’s Rugby World Cup?
