Kevin Garnett is not a fan of Victor Wembanyama letting it out and showing his true emotions after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

The Hall of Fame big man ripped the San Antonio Spurs superstar for crying it out in the aftermath of the past Game 7 West Finals thriller.
“He’s got to go through some bull****. He’s crying in the mother******* Western Conference Finals. That was too emotional for me,” Garnett claimed in the latest episode of Ticket & The Truth.
“You got four more games to try to get through. You got to go through the Finals now. You still have to stay even-keeled right here. And that [West] trophy, that ain’t what we’re focused on. That’s cool—yeah, we beat them, cool—but I got a whole other sight [championship], and it’s up here. It’s going to take my energy to run up this hill.
“That was how bad they wanted to beat OKC, you know what I’m saying? But man, this right here? Nah.”
As the final buzzer sounded that sealed the Spurs’ series-clinging 111-103 win, Wembanyama instantly became emotional for the Spurs last Saturday.
The French big man cried and hugged it out with his teammates after he and San Antonio survived the seven-game clash to dethrone the defending champs.
Wembanyama, who delivered 22 points and seven rebounds in the Game 7 dub, was subsequently named the Magic Johnson West Finals recipient in a unanimous result.
The 22-year-old sensation is widely recognized as an emotional player. While Garnett and others may view this as inappropriate, it ultimately reflects how passionate and intense Wembanyama is about the game.
Still, the job is certainly not done yet for Wembanyama. He has one last test to complete, leading the Spurs to the top against the New York Knicks in this year’s NBA Finals.
