The king of the short press conference, Stuart and captain Joe Tapine were in and out of the post-game presser in less than two minutes.

Stuart was curt with his answers as journalists turned to Tapine for any sort of insight.

The Raiders coach made no excuses, stating the Chooks were “too good” and “had too much class”.

When asked by Fox League’s Jake Duke how the 13th-placed Raiders will turn things around this season, Stuart interjected: “It’s one game mate”.

Tapine shed a little more light on Canberra’s poor performance, which included nearly 40 missed tackles and a whopping 15 errors.

“It was the opposite to what we did last week. We had the game plan but we didn’t do it,” Tapine said.

While Stuart didn’t give much away, one of his former players Braith Anasta said the passionate Raiders coach “wouldn’t be happy with the dressing room”.

“Ricky Stuart acting like he’s not worried but looking very worried in that press conference. I’ve seen that so many times before,” Anasta said.

“You can tell he’s a very angry man.”
