Rivalling Lee for size was Sam Mac, dressed as everyone’s favourite cartoon dog Bluey.
Onlookers caught their breath as he momentarily failed to resurface – spotter Anthony Marchesani, waiting in his jocks nearby, jumped into action, dragging the costumed Mac from the water.

Mac admitted he had not anticipated the added weight of the water.
“It felt like I was down for a while, building the suspense, but I’m just so proud to be part of it,” he said.
“The way [Neale’s] message is magnified today is really special.”
