We’ve got a fresh crop of farmers ready to take the reins for the 2026 season of Farmer Wants A Wife.
Long regarded as one of the more wholesome entries in the reality dating canon, it is also one of its most successful. And right now, the cultural appetite is firmly in its favour.
In recent years, book lovers have well and truly saddled up; over on BookTok, it is all dusty boots and simmering outback chemistry, so it feels only natural to wonder whether this cowboy romance obsession might translate into even greater interest in the beloved series. The answer is almost certainly yes.

Each season sees a group of single women trade city life for the country, heading to working farms to get to know each farmer on his own turf.
From there, the format unfolds in familiar fashion: one-on-one dates, group outings and overnight stays, as the farmers gradually narrow the field before making their final choice.
Unlike its more combustible counterparts (we’re looking at you, MAFS), where finales are often followed by swift breakups and social media fallout, the series has built a reputation for genuine longevity. Over 18 years, it has delivered more than 20 enduring couples, and an ever-growing brood of farmer babies.
Now, the series is returning to Channel Seven and 7plus, bringing with it its signature mix of romance, heartbreak and wide-open skies.
So, when can we watch Farmer Wants A Wife? Ahead, everything you need to know about the 2026 season.
