Aussie cricket great Brett Lee and wife Lana, now based in Dubai, have found $7000 a week tenants for their former Sydney base.
The couple, who have been married since 2014, spent $8.8m on the luxury Clontarf home six years ago, before extensively renovating.
The 1990s built home is “brand new throughout”, with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and parking for eight cars. There are multiple living and dining zones that open to terraces on the 2345 sqm block that overlook the Spit Bridge. Clarke & Hummel secured the tenancy in just a few weeks.

Lee reckons, “Dubai is a city that offers incredible opportunities while maintaining a safe and vibrant lifestyle. For me and my family, it was important to choose a place that combines long-term investment value with exceptional living standards.”
Lee posted earlier this year that he’s bought off the plan in Breez by Danube, which has a 2029 completion date.
It’s a 60-floor tower in Dubai Maritime City, marketed as “more than just a residence, Breez is your invitation to experience a life where the city’s pulse meets the calm of the sea”.
The 49-year-old Lee suggested the development “immediately stood out”.

“The waterfront location, uninterrupted ocean views, extensive amenities, fully furnished apartments, and the signature 1 per cent per month payment plan made it an easy decision for me.”
Lee has been appointed as a global ambassador for Danube.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to aligning with personalities who embody excellence, credibility, and a winning mindset,” Rizwan Sajan, chairman of Danube said.
The Breez by Danube has an estimated development value of AED 510,000,000 (approximately US $138.9 million or $197.2m) according to figures submitted to the Dubai Land Department.

Sajan appears in Desi Bling, the glitzy Netflix series that follows ultra-wealthy Indian expats in Dubai. Sajan bills himself as Dubai’s third biggest developer.
Lee, who took more than 700 international wickets, retired in 2012 and became a commentator with Fox Sports.
“What began as a few trips for work has grown into something much bigger … Dubai is now home.

“New opportunities, great people, plenty of family time and a lifestyle that’s pretty hard to beat. We’ve honestly loved every minute of it.
“The kids are thriving, the schools are fantastic, sport is everywhere, and it’s the people you meet along the way that really make it.”
Lee recently met His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“Things slowed down a bit as buyers hit pause during the US-Iran tensions, but inquiry from Aussies has started up again,” Wiesner Property’s Jeremy Wiesner said.
