Sam Armytage has secured $2.1m for her Moss Vale renovation project which sold recently after nine days on market through Bradley Cocks of Drew Lindsay Sotheby’s Bowral.
The host of Channel 9’s The Golden Bachelor had paid $1.3m in 2024. It sold to Kim Greeshaw having come with a $2.1m to $2.3m buyers’ guide.
Armytage secured the home in 2024, shortly before her separation from her then husband, equestrian businessman Richard Lavender.

She paid $1.3m for the unrenovated 1960s home in March 2024.

Set on a 1,920 sqm block, the home’s entry is through a classic full width porch on to a wide hallway. Inside there are French doors, VJ panelled walls, and a combustion fireplace in the living.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite to the master bedroom.

It was on the market for just nine days.

The home has undergone an extensive renovation.
The renovation opened up the kitchen and dining area. Armytage turned the kitchen into a “bright, white, country-style space”, complete with a farmhouse sink, a freestanding 900mm gas cooker, an island bench, a breakfast nook, and a walk-in pantry.
The rear veranda looks over extensive lawns.
The cottage, now known as Churchill, has a new roof.
Armytage quit Sydney in 2020 when she sold her two-level, freestanding North Bondi home for $3.15m, citing privacy issues.
The three-bedroom home had cost Armytage $2.15m in 2014.
The Bondi sale was just a month after her June 2020 engagement to Lavender.

The couple lived together at Lavender’s 40ha Berrima estate, which cost $1.95m in 2007, until their late 2024 separation.
Armytage, who also recently sold her Hyams Beach cottage for $2.75m, retains a Rushcutters Bay apartment.
