Essendon’s updated injury list ahead of Saturday’s Dees clash.
Dyson Sharp is a test for this weekend’s game against Melbourne after recovering from a shoulder injury that occurred in Round 9 against GWS Giants.
As reported last week, Lewis Hayes will not require surgery on his ACL. Following further assessment, the young defender sprained his ACL.
While Hayes will miss the remainder of the 2026 season, he is expected to be available to commence training at the start of pre-season.
As reported, Archie May will undergo surgery in the coming weeks after suffering a dislocated shoulder early in the first term against West Coast in Round 12. Details around his rehab timeline will be shared post-surgery.
Mason Redman (knee soreness) and Sam Durham (concussion) both made successful returns at AFL level after missing Round 12.
Jordan Ridley also had a positive return through the VFL after recovering from a calf injury and is set to return to the AFL side for Round 14.
