LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Famed illusionists Penn & Teller aren’t leaving Las Vegas anytime soon.

The acclaimed duo has signed an extension to remain the resident headliners at Rio Las Vegas for another three years.

They announced the extension Monday night on NBC’s “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,” saying the new contract keeps them at the resort through 2030.

“The Rio has been our home base for more than two decades and we’re thrilled to continue entertaining audiences here weekly,” Penn & Teller said in a joint statement. “We’re grateful to our incredible fans from around the world who continue to make this show possible and we look forward to welcoming many more over the next three years.”

Known for their death-defying illusions and comedic banter, Penn & Teller have headlined the Rio since 2001.

One of the streets leading to the resort was renamed in their honor last fall.

“Penn & Teller are synonymous with Las Vegas entertainment, and we are proud to continue our partnership with them for the next three years,” Rod Turlan, president and general manager of the Rio, said in a statement. “Their unparalleled ability to evolve their show and dazzle new audiences while consistently delivering the ‘wow’ factor for which they’re known is why they remain an integral part of Rio’s future.”
