A new belt and a new truck?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight, Justin Gaethje, finally won the undisputed 155 lb title last night (Sun., June 14, 2026), forcing a corner stoppage against massive betting favorite, Ilia Topuria, between the fourth and fifth rounds at UFC Freedom 250 live on Paramount+ on the South Lawn in Washington, D.C., as UFC celebrated America’s 250th anniversary.

Gaethje reacted to Tsarukyan’s gift offer during the UFC Freedom 250 post-fight press conference.

“I need a new truck,” Gaethje said. “I’ll take a Ram. I’m due for a new truck. My truck is a 2020. I bought it when I beat Tony Ferguson, and it’s got about 65,000 miles on it, so send it.”

And Tsarukyan is not backing down from the gift. In fact, he already asked Gaethje what color he wants.

“Of course [I’m getting him a truck]. I just checked what color he wants,” Tsarukyan told Ariel Helwani. “I’m [competing] July 12, and then I’m competing on July 18 in St. Louis, and after that, I’m going to bring him a truck. … Dana White said Ram, so I’m going to get him a Ram.”

“Ram is a UFC official sponsor, so maybe they will give me a discount, 15 or 10 percent,” Tsarukyan concluded. “But if they don’t, it’s okay, it’s not that expensive.”

As for his MMA career, Tsarukyan is going to have to wait and see what Gaethje decides to do next because the new Lightweight champion has been noncommittal about his future.

At least Gaethje will have a new Ram truck while he decides.
