A man and a child are in a life-threatening condition after being hit by a car in Logan, south of Brisbane.

Paramedics said one of the people was “primary school-aged” and the other was a middle-aged man.

The incident happened on Green Road at Regents Park shortly after 11am on Sunday.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

The incident follows a fatal crash in Logan last night. 

Emergency services were called to New Beith Road at Greenbank to reports a utility had rolled on its side around 10pm.

The 31-year-old male driver suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

Two passengers were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.
