The stage was won by ITT world champion, Marlen Reusser (Movistar). And to add a bonus to the day, the defending champion at the race also took yellow from Elisa Longo-Borghini (UAE Team ADQ) after the Italian put in a valiant effort but still lost over a minute.

It all comes down to the massive mountain stage tomorrow.
