Amanda Holden has suffered a major blow after her TV show was axed.

The media personality is known for being a talent show judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and co-hosting the national Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings.

A household name across the UK, she lives in a four-bedroom thatched cottage near Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds.

The 54-year-old has faced a big setback this weekend, though, as her Netflix show, Cheat: Unfinished Business, was axed.

Ms Holden starred alongside Paul C. Brunson in the series which is one of the most-streamed shows on the platform.

Filmed in Majorca, the show sees eight ex-couples visit a luxury retreat to settle their problems after breaking up due to infidelity.

The Sun on Sunday has reported the show will not be returning for a second season.

A source told the newspaper: “Despite Cheat being popular with audiences, Netflix has decided to pursue new show formats.

“Bosses love Amanda and are in talks with her on three different show ideas, so it’s likely fans will see a lot more of her on the platform in the future.

“Amanda is still very much one of the hardest working women in showbiz and is booked and busy for the foreseeable future.”

A Netflix spokesman confirmed: “Cheat: Unfinished Business won’t be returning.”
