Cody Walker’s son has delivered a classic post-game interview moment after the Rabbitohs scored a big win over the Eels on Thursday night.
The veteran five-eighth crossed for a double as South Sydney moved into the NRL’s top-four, continuing to perform despite turning 36 earlier this year.

Walker has produced some masterful performances over the course of this season and it was no different at CommBank Stadium.
But his display during the 80 minutes might have been outshone by his son.
During a post-game interview, Walker Jr. took over and fielded questions from Nine host James Bracey about the performance from Souths.
“I think they were great, I think they were outstand-able,” he said.
“They were great – oi, Cody Walker, the best.”
Billy Slater then asked him to answer whether Walker would be playing again next season, to which he gave a hilarious response.
“He better play, I swear. If he doesn’t … nah, he has to play,” the young man said.
Walker is unsigned for 2027 as it stands, but with the football he’s played this season, it’s hard to imagine he won’t ink a new deal with the Bunnies.
“I think he’d like to play on and we’d like him to play on,” coach Wayne Bennett said of Walker in his post-game press conference.
