Fresh doubt has been cast over an $18 billion pumped hydroelectric project in Queensland after the Crisafulli government left out of the state budget an allocation of key funding or a construction timeline.
Industry had hoped the budget handed down on Tuesday would provide clear timelines and construction funding for the Borumba project south of Gympie, which has been in limbo for months.
