Following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ reported acquisition of LaMelo Ball from the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, LaVar Ball called for the T-Wolves to bring in his other two sons as well.
In a video, LaVar challenged the Timberwolves to sign both Lonzo Ball and LiAngelo Ball in order to bring the three Ball brothers together in the NBA for the first time:
LaVar noted that the Timberwolves would be able to get Lonzo and LiAngelo “damn near for nothing,” and he guaranteed the organization a championship if they sign them.
LaMelo was a one-time All-Star over his six seasons in Charlotte, and Lonzo was No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, although injuries have marred his career.
Signing LiAngelo is seemingly the least-likely move since he has never played an NBA regular-season game and has not been in the G League since 2023.
