Perth’s most committed cosplayers and screen super fans descended on PCEC at the weekend to celebrate the arrival of Supanova.
The annual comic con and gaming festival had flown in from Sydney, with local crowds greeted by a string of past and present Hollywood figures, eager exhibitors, and exclusive panel discussions.
While Special guests Simon Pegg, Chrisopher Lloyd and Mythbusters’ Adam Savage have been entertaining audiences for decades, Perth comic book and gaming enthusiasts took the opportunity to dress like their own screen heroes to maximise the experience.
Supanova introduced Pro and Amateur cosplay divisions, giving attendees the chance to compete for awards across several experience levels.
Notable cosplayers included Elspeth Erickson and Jessica Lynne.
