Dianna Agron has touched on the deaths of her late Glee co-stars Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera and Mark Salling in a new podcast interview.
The 39-year-old, who starred on the hit show as Quinn Fabray, remembered what they were like and the memories they shared during her appearance on the And That’s What You REALLY Missed podcast.
In some rare comments, Agron said her late co-stars “feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul”.

“It’s hard to think of our loved ones from the show not being with us anymore because they feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul, all of it,” the American actress said.
“And I think that the tenderness that I feel and the memories that I have and who you know, both Corey and Naya and Mark were as people, as cast members, as our friends and family.
“That’s just so vivid and that will never dissipate for me ever. And I think there’s beauty in that, and I think, I just I could replay memory after memory after memory.”

She added about Monteith, who died in 2013 at the age of 31 due to an overdose of heroin and alcohol: ”He was a teddy bear.”
“And I mean that in a way of just his kindness and groundedness in himself, was just so perfect. And he was this tall, big brotherly presence in all of our lives.”
Rivera died in 2020 at the age of 33 following an accidental drowning while boating with her son at California’s Lake Piru.

Salling meanwhile, died at 35 in 2018 after committing suicide. He had pleaded guilty to charges of possession of child pornography.
The deaths of the trio from the show is often referred to by fans as the “Glee curse”.
When Rivera died, Agron shared a touching tribute to her late friend, who she was particularly close to.

“Naya and I fell into stride with such ease, she was my first friend and ally on our show,” Agron said.
“I was lucky enough to be her travel partner for some of my most favorite adventures. As I write this, I’m grinning with swelling memories of a spontenaous 36 hour excursion – one might even say diversion – to Paris.”

“I cannot make sense of this tremendous loss. I will hold onto her and these memories for the rest of time, alongside our Glee family.
“Please hold space for her, her family, her beautiful boy. In absolute, loving memory.”
